Make-up

I am searching for a makeup that will help blend my spots on my face. I don't want heavy. Any suggestions?

  • Theresa,

I have had vitiligo for over 10 years and have tried lots of products.  I am having great success with Estee Lauder's liquid foundation and concealer followed up with just simple pressed powder applied with a brush.  I have medium sized spots around my eyes.  I put on the foundation all over my face first and then apply the concealer on the spots, blending it in with the foundation.  I apply two thin coats of the concealer, letting the first coat dry first which doesn't take long at all.  I finish it up (sealing it in) with the powder making sure not to press too hard on spots to not take off the concealer.  I am dark skinned so trying to find a color was not easy.  But so far, I am pleased with the results.

In the past, I have used MAC products and also Dermablend.  Dermablend can be a bit thick and the problem with MAC is you can find a product that works and that you really like and they change products on you.

  • Theresa,

U can try concealers of KIKO MAKE UP, an Italian trademark if it is available in ur country.

As my skin is fair olive skined, I use both concealers shades 4 and 5 to hidde my spots around my eyes. Each concealer costs about 7,5 Euros.

If u need other information, do not hesitate to contact me.

    Best regards.

    SYLVIA
