first i was advised to take 28 drops twice a day but unfortunately it didnt suited me.i admit that i was not strict abt diet and sun exposer as a result it spreaded like anything.then i stopped taking it and 1 wk ago i showed it to dr. she advised me to tk 40 drops thrice a day with dicaris in weekend and NeurokindOD for alternative days and follow strict suggested diet.lets see now .i ll keep u updated..The only reason i m again giving it a try cuz it appeared as wonder drug for many people.
Lukoskin has been developed by the indian government and is relatively new in the market. It is a combination of oral liquid medicine and ointment. I have just started it, will keep you posted on how it goes. As far as dietary changes are concerned, you can search this site and get loads of information. I believe people affected by vitiligo have more knowledge on how to manage the disease than the derms themselves!!
Depending on how widespread your vit is, take an informed decision on whether to take any medicine orally or not. It is frustrating why there is not enough research done on this.
sorry I can't give you any input. I have just been diagnosed with this disorder by my primary care physician. I have not even been to a dermatologist yet as there is a waiting list. What is lukoskin and how does it work? Do you know? I am trying to get as much information as I can while I'm waiting to see the doctor. I'm willing to try some things that I can do on my own like dietary changes and such.
