Just a thought.
I don’t think I knew I had vitiligo until someone "reminded" me..lol. Honestly, I didn't walk around with a mirror glued to my hand. I always assumed that people probably stared at me because of my "curvy" body, nice clothes, or something that was an eye catcher...lol. Hmmmmm!
But I tell you the truth, now more then ever I’m reminded of my "vitiligo". Its odd how this is. When people compliment me and say "oh your so beautiful" or " you skin is so nice" . I look at them like they are crazy..hahaha. I smile and nod and say thanks. Because I stuck never forgetting where I've come from and how the Lord has blessed me in clearing up my skin.
But life was great growing up. But truth be told no one likes feeling like the odd man out. It was only when someone pointed out that I had vitiligo and that’s when I realized that I had it too. Then I thought to myself "Who the hell are you to point out my flaws?" Look at you? Go loose some weight, go fix your mouth, or get a life!" Who do you think you are to be in my face? I mean honestly.... Who are you to have the never...hahaha. Ive always been a mouthy outspoken child..lol. But people can say what they want to themselves but don't have the never to stop me from enjoying my day to point something out.
My vitiligo has been an enjoyable amazing ride and I can't wait to see what the next level is going to be. For me its not over mentally...lol.
