Linear patches

Hi!

I just had a white pigmentless stripe appear on my arm-- no wound, no infection, no stretchmark. It's about an inch and a half long and about a centimeter or two wide. I have also been diagnosed with another autoimmune disease in the last few months, and one doctor suggested this could be vitiligo, though he had never seen it manifest in a linear fashion.

What do you guys think? Have you ever seen/heard of such a thing?

Thanks!

  • Hi,I was trying to recall whether any of my patches began in that way but although sometimes the spots/splodges gather and form a more linear shape (over years),I have never had one that began in that way but that's not to suggest that it cannot-I simply haven't experienced it like that. I would ask to see a dermatologist for confirmation.
