Kenalog Injection to the face

Hi All,

 

I went to see my derm this morning, she injected Kenalog on my vitiligo spots  which located around my facial area, eye lid, nose. she will do this one a month and has been done for the last five months. My question to you all is has anybody have this type of treatment and what is your outcome.

    Kenalog injection was the very first that was prescribed for me after being diagnosed, the reaction of the injection was worst than anyother thing I have had and probably will ever have in life.

    It almost paralyzed me, my menstrual flow that month was pure black blood and it was so heavy a flow that.........

      Never heard of it. Just came back from our derm, who is a professor of dermatology at a major university. Will need to wait for 6 weeks before I could ask. Our derm always answers any question with patience when we are next to him. Never tried fax or phone call or via email. will circle back to this question in 6 weeks.

    Beside the kenalog injection one a month, I also using protopic twice a day and narrow band uvb twice a week. I will let you all know about my treatment soon. Kenalog injection kinda worry me little bit since no one in here have had any experience with it.
