I am a bit worried, is Glutamine the same as Glutathione. My nutritionist has prescribed me with L-glutamine, does it bleach out the skin?? cause if it does, i won't take it.
Glutamine is one precursor or Glutathione. It's good for the gut.
Glutathione is the best natural anti-oxidant. It can be supplemented by 3 aminoacids: L-Glutamine (or glutamic acid), Glycine and N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC).
Excess of Reduced Glutathione (GSH) may cause tyrosinase inhibition.
So, moderate amount of L-glutamine is very healthy for vit suffererers.
Glutathione supplementation (not injection) is a good try. One should do it taking its 3 precursors: Glycine, NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) and Glutamine (or Glutamin Acid).

It's effect is anti-oxidant.
So as an alternative, I would go for topic pseudocatalase cream.
Injections leave small traumas that may cause vitiligo.

It's the most powerful existing anti-oxidant...
