Itchy and Scratchy!!!

Hello, Is it just me or is vitiligo itchy? I've been real itchy lately and I went to the dermatologist and he said I was allergic to nickel yet I wasn't even tested for any allergies...so how can he be so sure that I'm allergic to nickel. He said I'm itchy because the nickel button on my jeans rub on my patch and that can cause my other patches to be itchy... Do any of you get real itchy?

      excessive exposure to sun rays may cause redness and itching.  Are you taking any medication?

      It's important to know that vitiligo does not cause itches, but itches may cause vitiligo.

      It's possible that itches are caused by any allergy (mainly food allergy).

      Like DJ said, moisturizer is a good corrective measure.  However, itches should first be addressed from inside.  Try to do allergy tests.

    In the winter time especially, I usually get itchy due to dry skin from dry low humidity winter air. Try applying a moisturizer.
