Is NB UVB one of the best treatment for vitiligo? what does it help?

Many claim that they have got good repigmentation with UVB treatment , Clinuvel known Australian medicine company say NB UVB treatment is the only alternative right now to treat NSV ……….

My question is :- has any body tried properly 3 times a week for several months and didn`t succeed at all, some says it is helpful for non segmental vitiligo but I know ppl with segmental has got repigmentation too.

Please share your experience , is home unit as good as the big one which they use in clinics.

I have tried with hand hold small UVB unit for about three months in combination with Ayourvedic , I have seen some repig but I was not comfortable with the Ayorvedic so I quit ,now I want to try UVB again properly.

I am so optimist that Im planning to retry all the recognized treatments before I go to surgical level ,,,I don`t get disappointed if it doesn`t work I feel rather relief when I know that known treatment is not working for me It makes me think what is next until I get the right one for me . Lately I have tried again Protopic for about 5 monthes it didn`t help for me but I am happy that it makes my vit is stable may be it is getting stable by it self.

There is no any treatment which works 100% most works between 10-70 % most sellers claim it works 70-90 % we don`t have to hope like what they say .

We just have to try all known treatments one by one patiently until we find one which works for us . we have to know that vitiligo is individual some thing which works for some ppl doesn`t work for others. This is the fact I know about vitiligo.

Watch out from some internet staffs like anti vitiligo oil it is skam

Don`t listen to your doctor telling you there is nothing you can do ,,,,there are many treatments which can help, personally I know many who has repigmented , even my selv has repigmented with out any treatments before .

DON`T GIVE UP ! there is no cure for the moment but there are many treatments which can help , don`t just sit and wait for the miracle , go out and try some thing properly and share your experience with us .

Together by sharing experiences we can win this battle.

  Thanks for sharing , it means that we have to repair it all the time or reduce gradually. When you stopped the treatment,Did you losse the pigment you gaind only or more?

    Bamsegutt can ii say what a pleasure it is having you on this site. you are continually looking for effective ways to treat this and like me will try everything until I get there. are you non seg or seg? i havent found anything as such that will treat my stripe on my face but im looking, this thread is very useful and Ill continue to check in.

      Thanks Remy,,,Hi Dbas I m non segmental,,,the one on my face is bothering me much I am coverig it with Microskin ...no body knows that i have vitiligo but i need a permanent solution want to live normal life with out makeup.
