    • I agree with jagu.
  • I do not agree i am 45 year old man suffering vitiligo from 35 years now my vit is 60 percent of my body but i have no problem have many many friends in life , have wife two beautiful kids i never take it negative way and no body ask me about it and i live my life very happy like normal person it not bothers me
  • Hi mate. I was like you when vitiligo attacked me 5 years ago when I was 12. I know this is hard because I lived too. Try to talk with your family about the problem or with your friends. I'm not poor but here in venezuela the treatment for vitiligo is pretty expensive so I can't afford it. I'll live forever with my patches and I need to love them. It's my body and I love it. Bro I hope you make up your mind and be happy! You won't die. Enjoy life!

    • Good words.

      Very true and matured.

However, when someone accepts vitiligo, it doesn't mean that they have to stop fighting it.

Both actions can be managed together (acceptance and good treatment)...

  • no vitiligo is not the worst there are many way worse than vitiligo ,you think is the worst because is what you got , if you had a different health problem you'll think that health is the worst in the world

for example people that are blind think thats the worst in the world

people that are in a wheelchair they think thats the worst in the world

yeah vitiligo is bad but not that bad

  • Very true
    • Hi akka
  • Jagu,

It's real hard to accept this disease.

It's hard to hear consolation things like: "at least we are normal... We could be in a wheelchair... It's cosmetic only"

But you know what,  that's true. We are normal and we have to find our own peace.

There are a lot of good treatments available...

I always recommend this reading:    http://drbenkim.com/vitiligo-natural-management.htm
