Imagine going to the hospital or your doctors office and having the receptionist tell you that the doctor can't accept your insurance because your vitiligo is considered a pre-existing condition my problem is why are these insurance companies turning us down ? Vitiligo is so rare it's not like there's tons of people coming to their dermatologist office every day, Vitiligo is rare so that's all the more reason why our insurance companies should accept us we pay into the insurance system from our jobs, taxes or Etc. but to have them say they are not going to pay for vitiligo treatment because our condition is pre-existing is bull crap it's just more redtape that we have to go thru and something needs to be done because to many people are denied a chance for treatment because of red tape no matter if it's political or otherwise that's why I'm so proud of president Barack Obama here in the United States out of all the presidents we ever had it took a man of color to finally make a change in the life of others and vitiligo affects people of color to a stronger degree because of the contrasting issues with our skin color
