It's Punishment to the highest extent when you have to cover up yourself with long sleeves and long pants in the Summer. It's depressing and literally don't want to go outside, especially when you see others wearing sleevless and skirts with no stockings etc. I just want to stay indoors and come out back in the winter - LOL Unfortunately, I have to work like so many others, so I don't have a choice but to suffer in not so summer clothing. I have too much pride and will not show my vitiligo for nothing. Cover up makeup is another story, cant find the right color, nor enough time to put it on. Speaking about cover up, has anyone out there tried MICROSKIN? It's a cover up done by professionals by air brush, they match your skin color, so each person's cover up is different. It works, tried it once, but only lasted about 3 to 4 days on the hands, but definetly stays on your skin and does not come off on your clothing. However, this product is very expensive and if you have to purchase it with the machine, it cost maybe close to two thousand dollars.
Anyways, Good Luck everyone with the Summer. It's only May and I am already depressed and constantly thinking what to wear to work, not forgetting the questions by other co-workers as to why you dont wear short sleeves and skirts......They will never know. Best Regards!!!!!
