Even with the Vitiligo it's easy too see that we are some beautiful people, I would like to say hello too each and everyone of us who has Vitiligo and I don't consider it a disease because that seems like too harsh of word, the word disease is synonymous with Cancer, AIDS Etc. I consider Vitiligo as a disorder and the difference between a Disease and a Disorder is that "You can catch a Disease" but "You can't catch a Disorder" that's why I don't consider Vitiligo to be a Disease does anybody agree with me on this ?

I agree that Vitiligo should not be described as a disease. A skin disorder describes it better. I also like Alexander's description of Vitiligo as being a skin condition.
Hey Chuck, You and I are on the same page when it comes to me writing things about Vitiligo, You agree with me on everything I write unlike some of those people I just can't win, Like for instance when I wrote "What was some of the questions people asked you about your Vitiligo" A few people responded to me by saying I shouldn't of ask that question, But I didn't see nothing wrong with asking that question did you Chuck ?
I call it a condition, because it's not fatal and does not act up all the time. Life is a set of conditions, very specific ones that apply to us on an individual basis. This is just another one of them.
Thank you for your forum.Due to my Vitiligo, i am getting healthy.15 years ago, i was thin and easy to catch cold, sometimes i had headache.Since i got vitiligo,i had considered my health and i do activity every day.Especilly,i pay attention in my daily meal and i am getting strong.Thank for my vitiligo.
Yes believe it or not, Vitiligo has been known to make people healthier, Vitiligo has been classified as a autoimmune disorder and by it attacking the Melanocytes in the skin it's treating your own Melanocytes as a invader therefore attacking everything that the white blood cells assume as a invader or enemy so it attacks the cells that causes other disorders making you healthier by destroying the foreign invaders
In our daily goings-on we don’t often see someone else with vitiligo, so sometimes it’s comforting to read of people who have vitiligo and have achieved a level of notoriety in their industry.
