Has anybody seen the documentary "running from the cure?"
If not let me fill you in. THC (the active ingrediant found in cannabis) has been studied and proven to reduce pain. It's given to people who suffer from cancer, hepatits C, AIDS and other terminal diseases. This is well known and documented. What's NOT well not and documented is the powerful and healing effects of cannabis oil when applied directly to the skin. This is made very clear in Running From The Cure. The oil is extraced directly from the bud (the flower that grows from cannabis) It`s basically a highly concentrated THC liquid.
In the aformentioned documentary, a man (i forgot his name) who was suffering from melanoma skin had operations to remove the skin cancer. The affected areas acted very very agressively post surgery. It was irriated and the skin cancer came back. What he did next was amazing! He applied pure cannabis oil exctract on a bandaid and then applied the bandaid to his skin. Within 4 days the skin cancer disappeared. When he approached his doctors about this, they wanted no part in it. They did were not even interested in learning how he cured his skin cancer.
When taken orally, cannabis oil allegedly cured a mans depression, it controlled a womans diabetes and it slowed down the progression of HIV. When aplpied topically, it healed rashes, psoriasis eczema etc etc...
I know you all think im crazy (maybe i am) but if you dont believe me i URGE you to look up "running from the cure" The documentary did not mention anyone who repigmented their vitiliginous skin. However due to the endless medicinal potential of cannabis (it has been proven time and again to be the most medicnal plant in the world) i started to ask myself why doctors dont give this to EVERYBODY! and then reality struck me...
It's all a business. The global medical system as a whole is a business. If people got healthier faster, there would probably be a lack of money flow. Theres cures out there that the idiots who govern us dont want us to know about. I'm not saying cannabis oil will treat vitiligo, but im not saying it wont either.
I'm probably gonna incriminate myself with this next statement, but i am considering making my own cannabis oil and attempting to treat my vitiligo.

well this is awesome, and am wondering... how do i make my own cannabis oil??? I am an active daily "pot smoker" and i def have the means, and fuck incriminilization, or whatever it is... I'm gonna research this... <3 Niki
Marajuana has chemicals in it that aleviate pain, and that's a well known fact but Vitiligo causes no physical pain but it could be used to reduce depression bought on by the patient who may have a hard time dealing with their Vitiligo
I have found that marijuana does relieve depression caused by vitiligo.Off subject, I have been doing some research about chemicals found in every day house hold items, building materials, and even food. I am a tile installer and suspect that my vitiligo was caused by chemical injestion. This chemical is found in the morter I use, caulking, silicone and who knows what else.Foul play?"Brief Description: Occupational vitiligo is a skin disorder caused by exposure to phenolic compounds such at 4-tertiary butylphenol (4-TBP). Exposure to these compounds results in skin depigmentation and destruction of melanocytes (melanin producing cells). Current theory suggests that free radicals of 4-TBP generated by tyrosinase enzyme (responsible for melanin synthesis) induces oxidative stress and cell death. Free radicals generated in the cell are detoxified by reacting with glutathione (GSH), an antioxidant that is present in melanocytes. The product of free radical of 4-TBP and glutathione is a 4-TBP-GSH conjugate. We propose g-glutamyl transpeptidase is an enzyme responsible for initiating a chain of reactions that, instead of detoxification, converts the 4-TBP-GSH conjugate to a metabolite that can destroy melanocytes. Results from this project would identify a specific enzymatic pathway responsible for the generation of 4-TBP metabolite capable of melanocyte destruction in occupational vitiligo."

This is the first time I heard about "Occupational vitiligo". I am glad you brought it up.
But a derm did once tell me not to have skin contact with mortar, lime, paint, varnish etc. He also said the same about things like weedicide, pesticide, fertilizer.
Like you rightly said, there are many chemicals found in every day household items, like dish washing liquid, laundry soap, or even in shampoo, soap or even the tooth paste we use everyday - which are all bad for Vitiligo.
That is why derms here say to use products recommended for infants and children. According to them, such products contain very little or no chemicals which are bad for our skin.
Unfortunatley for me I do tile for a living and a career change is definatley necessary, but I still have been forced to do tile to pay my bills. This all causes more stress therfore more damage to my skin and self esteem. We would all be little bubble boy's and girls if we tried to live toxic free. I was married to a raw live food vegan( we removed as many chemicals from our life as possible) and ate I that way for two years. I did not see any results. I still eat 50% raw. I buy organic all around including my holshold items, I even made a cleanig solution with everclear that kills bacteria 100%. I wish I could sue these bastards who put all this bad stuff in our products. My goal is to find out if these chemicals caused this for me. If I can prove it I am going to raise hell. POWER TO THE PAINTED PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POWER TO THE PAINTED PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the sound of that !!!
Well, Christopher ... good luck to you in your goal to find out if these chemicals caused your VIT. One thing for sure is that at least some of these chemicals would have made our vit worse.
Right on man that is a good find. I believe in the medicinal properties marijuana has myself and think what the hell maybe a doc would prescribe it if there was some validity in helping our particular disorder. After all living with this can be depressing, if pot helps there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, in my state(Colorado) you could most likley be prescibred marijuana for almost anything. I think this is a great safe alternitive medicine to explore with no unknown chemicals, radiation, or unecessary actions that could be potentially harmfull. No harm done its only weed. I apprieciate the post thanks, Wolfeman
