Different types of Pseudocatalase Cream

Hi All,

There are 3 types of pseudocatalase cream in the market.  They are:

1-PC-KUS (German one.  Found only in the German Clinic)

Specific differences: uses Neribas (neribase) as a base cream that contains Disodium EDTA and don't use Calcium Chloride.

2-PCAT (American one.  Found in Compound Pharmacies in the USA)

Specific differences: uses Vanicream as a base cream and uses Calcium Chloride.

3-Pseudocatalase (Also American, but provided by a company in California only)

Specific differences: uses another base cream (greasier) and uses Calcium Chloride.

The 4th type is yours. The home made cream.  Probably the best one!

To produce 100 grams of your Pseudocatalase Cream you need.

1- A precision scale ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Double-Precision-0-01g-x-100g-0-1g-x-500g... )

2- 380mg (0.38g)  of Manganese (II) Chloride ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Manganese-II-Chloride-Tetrahydrate-ACS-99-4... )

3- 200mg (0.2g) of Calcium Chloride ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I53ZG1W/ref=pe_385040_30332220_pe_33455... )

4- 2.3g of Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005JHF428/ref=pe_385040_30332200_TE_item )

5- Three drops of distilled water (buy in Walmart)

6- 100g of VaniCream ( http://www.amazon.com/Vanicream-Moisturizing-Skin-Cream-Ounces/dp/B... )

Put items 2, 3, 4 and 5 together.  Mix it and wait 15 minutes.

After waiting, mix it very well with 100g of VaniCream .

Put in a small bottle and keep in the refrigerator.

You can test your product putting a few drops of a drugstore hydrogen peroxide on a plate.  Then you throw a drop of your cream on it and wait a few minutes.  The result has to be similar to the following:

Good Luck !

  • I think only Schallreuter's PC-KUS from Germany works. Because they did some basic research and posted a dozen of publications in dermatology journals about their success. And there's no guaranty that Pr Schallreuter's patent gives real instructions of preparation of the pseudocatalase cream.

Institute for Pigmentary Disorders bewares you from buying advertised pseudocatalase that doesn't have approved evidence of efficacy:

    http://www.vitiligo.eu.com/kopien_en.php

And there are two studies of a non-original pseudocatalase cream and a topical pseudocatalase mousse sponsored by Stiefel International Department of Research and Development that didn't confirm their efficacy:

    http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-2133.2009.09252.x...
    http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/wol1/doi/10.1046/j.1365-2230.2002.01...

In fact there's no publications from another pharmacies that would prove success of their compounds. They even don't show us the spectroscopy level of hydrogen peroxide in the skin before and after treatment with their compounds.

And the in vitro test for hydrogen peroxide dismutation is though evident, but useless. Because hydrogen peroxide is unstable and dismutes reacting with many stuffs even with edges of a glass.

    • Like I said, there are 4 types.  Find the one that works better for you.

Don't just think that the German is the only one that works, because that's not true.

I personally have seen types 1, 2 and 4 working well in some friends, but never type 3.

      • Actually I was searching for any trustable information about the pseudocatalase cream for recent weeks. And what you say is encouraging me.

Here's Pr Schallreuter's text in German at the Institute for Pigmentary Disorders' home page:
http://www.vitiligo.eu.com/news_en.php (google translate makes it readible).

Which says that Steifel International Ltd bought a patent for the cream from Pr Schallreuter. They wanted to test it in order to put it on the market.
So Steifel did several trials of the pseducatalase (mixing it with cream and mousse) but failed. They bought the patent but it seems they weren't able to get the original cream to test it or to get ammount suffecient for a trial. That's most mysterious.

Also it says "After all, Steifel [the patentee] allowed Schallreuter as the inventor [of the pseudocatalase cream] to go on her treatment of patients. From then on the pseudocatalase was only used in patients who had been examined and supervised by her. The cream was never delivered to other patients."

Here's full protocol of Stiefel's pseudocatalase cream trial which failed:

        • Alexey,

Institute for Pigmentary Disorders bewares you from buying advertised pseudocatalase because they want to make as much money as possible selling directly.

The patent claim gives real instructions because they want to protect their invention.  Otherwise someone could end up registering the right formula after some trial/error experiments.

          Go for it.

          • Ok, it's clear now.

I'm from Kazakhstan, so I'm not able to buy it from a compound pharmacy. I will try the homemade one. It'll take me a while before I get all the ingredients. I don't promise but probably I will post some photo before treatment and when there will be some noticeable progress of repigmentation (if there will be some, of course).

I've got the segmental vitiligo (that manages to spread by symmetrical way), which started from a spot about a five cents coin on my right hip about 13-15 years ago and I've never tried any treatment before. But there are still a lot of small brown dots around hairs.

            • Friction plays  a big role as a vitiligo causative factor.

Your odds are great, since you've got already some brown dots.

After producing the cream, don't forget to do  the test.  I know it's not the ideal test, but it's the best you can do.

              More details at: http://www.vitiligomap.com/

              • I think my repigmentation chances great too, I'm just not sure what treatment will fit for me. I'm going to start with UVB 311nm activated pseudocatalase and watch results.

                Thank you for your contribution.

  • Hi Flavio,

I can't find a company that ships the product Manganese (II) Chloride to Canada. Do you have any suggestions or company names outside of the one listed above(from ebay).

    Thanks,

    Erin

    • I bought it at ebay.  Did you search there?

I can ship some to you.

      • Yes I checked on ebay but they don't ship to Canada. That would be great if you could ship it to me.I'll send you an email and we can set up paypal like we did for the lamp.
