How to get your Vitiligo to stabilize

I've had vitiligo for about 4 years now. I have tried topical corticosteroids and UV treatment. But it seems like both of them just help temporarily and then it comes back. I have it on my hands, lips, and feet now. How long does it take generally for it to stabilize ? 

sorry if this post shows lack of research. If you could point me to online articles, it would be greatly appreciated.

    There are a lot of things you can do to try to stabilize it.  None of them are 100% guaranteed.  What have you been doing?

      I am using topical corticosteroids and immuno suppressants.

        Topical corticosteroids are fine.

        Which immuno suppressants are you taking?

        You should start addressing  the root cause,  since so far you've been trying to fix only the effect.

        The root cause is the big challenge.  look for "Vitiligo cure is a puzzle"..." discussion.
