Ive realized that I really don't have any coping methods when it comes to vitiligo. Every time I get a new spot I fall into a very deep depression, one where I can no longer sleep or eat. This becomes problematic because I have responsibilities and quite frankly I cant afford to be depressed. I am spiralling and so is my life. Its 04h00, and while everyone I love is sleeping, I am tossing and turning thinking about all the new spots that I can get. Every day of the last couple of months has been dreadful & everyone that knows me thinks Im overreacting. I have become such a negative and depressed person. I need some help & guidance :-(

Friends definitely provided great advices for sure. But also follow a Functional Treatment so that you will be able to untrigger (stabilize) your vitiligo.
Life is very short to think like this ... we all will die one day ... god has send you here because he have some plan for you. so leave depression .... you are beautiful.... start to help others ... spend some time in orphanage ... with blinds.. with senior citizens and soon u will find a new magic energy inside you .... which will give you lot of courage .. think about bright future.... think good things... plan to meet with me in india and we will help so many poor persons, blind persons and soon god will bless you lot of happiness...
I understand and feel the same. I had vitiligo for a bit more than 1 years, and new spot appear from time to time. I have been doing the treatment using UVB and mostly face area react well. However, sometimes white spot reappear on the same spot after several months of stability stage. I also find this reappear (unstable) very distract and demotivated.
I find that by talking about your vitiligo with a close group of friend or even collegue definitely help you relieve stress, as well as getting supportive reaction from them.
Best thing to do is to understand how vitiligo works and try to untrigger it. If you make it, it will calm you down.
Untriggering means stop spreading. Anyone can and have to achieve it asap. The only way to reach the untrigger point is avoiding the real causes and following a Functional Treatment.

You have to be strong. For me, also, the worst moments have been when new white spots came. I felt like these spots choked me. But I think you have done one of the best things you can do it: talk about it. I am sure it will serve to help.
I know that you are going through a hard time and although for me can be easy say you different things, for you will be more difficult to hear them with positive attitude. But I would help you and is because I write you.
In my opinion the worst thing you can do is obsessing with these white spots (new spots or not). You have to think in any other thing. I know that this is very difficult, so to help in this way you can start doing any sport like running, swimming or any other. Also, you have to meet with people and spend time with them. If you stay at home, only you will think more and more in these white spots and in consecuense you will fall into a deep depression like you have said. You have to distract, meet with people. I think another option can be to sign in yoga couse. Practice yoga will help you on the other hand to distract and on the other hand to channel your fears and anxieties better. Also, you will meet new people and I am sure they will help you.
I am not psychologist, so I don´t know what more recommendations can I give you. And I don´t know english very well, so I don´t know neither if you see what I mean :-)
Lot of spirit and remember don't stay at home and think more than necessary. We are many in the same situation and all together have strength to succeed.
