Does anyone else have health issues such as pain, depression, low vit d and anxiety? I'm a nurse and living with vitiligo for 27 years. In my older age I am having multiple health issues and although I know there is logic and maybe science to support this I am curious how many others with vitiligo are battling with these other ailments

Yes, I have low Vit D as well. My vitiligo seemed to have been brought on by Graves disease, which I had 12 years ago. The spots just recently appeared within the past 6 months.
These last days I am reading a lot about the relation between gluten-hypothyroid and vitiligo. Tomorrow I have an appointment with the doctor and I am going to ask analytics about gluten intolerance and hypothyroid.
Do you know anything else about these problems and the relation about them?
Vitiligo being autoimmune disorder can often co-exist with other diseases such as hypothyroid and celiac disease. if you have low vitamin d, depression and anxiety, this is perhaps due to malabsorption leading to lack of critical nutrients in your body such as vitamin B 12. if possible get your vitamin b 12 tested and if found low, get immediate shots. i have been through these symptoms and both my vitamin d and vitamin b12 were critically low despite healthy eating. culprit was gluten sensitivity leading to celiac disease and malabsorption. Once i went gluten free, all these problems went away.
I mean, having vitiligo is not the best part of my life. I had a lot of those days when I start blaming everything on my vitiligo. Sometimes I like to think how I would have done things differently if I did not have it. You know, every person is different. I struggled with depression few years ago but the reason was because I was trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life ( has nothing to do with vitiligo :) ). I don't have any of the other symptoms you mentioned, but I have alopecia (total hair loss).
I am having alopecia as well. Sometimes vitiligo is secondary to something such as thyroid disorders and other auto immune issues. More than likely that is where the alopecia comes into play. It also seems like mine is where the vitiligo is under the hair growth. I am glad to hear you beat the depression! Thanks you for your response.
I am trying several diet changes and supplements... still trying to perfect this. I am also trying to do non-inflammatory diets considering vitiligo is a auto immune disorder and usually inflammation and auto immune go hand in hand
Brooke its a real lifestyle change that is needed, look up life generator on utube, everyone is different i jknow, but after speaking to a lot of people ...diet and lifestyle is the key in my opinion .....then try some treatment.
