Getting tattoo with vitiligo

Hello everyone. I have been living with vitiligo for almost eight years. I have very little vitiligo spots on my hand, under my arm and elbow. I didn't have a lot of spots came out in eight years. I got tattoo on my chest five years ago, it did not create any new vitiligo spots in that area. Now i want to have another tattoo in the same area and on my arms. I was just wondering if anybody has tattoo and their vitiligos spread on the areas where the tattoos are. Thank you.

  • That's possible, since tatto is in list below as physical trauma.

The 3 major causes that make vitiligo spread are:

1- Physical traumas (friction, injuries, itches, scratches, allergies, sun burns, impacts, violent moves, and others).

2-Oxidative stress (excess of free radicals) in the skin.

→Oxidative stress is a complex concept. It's essentially an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the ability of the body to counteract or detoxify their harmful effects through neutralization by antioxidants. The major factors for consideration are: food allergy, poor diet, leaky gut and dysbiosis (parasites, candida, h-pylori, yeast, fungus, etc.).

    3-Psychological and emotional systematic stress.

    Examples:

→ if you are a person who is feeling completely out of place.

→ you feel that you are no one in the group or you have no sense of belonging.

    → if you are a "yes-but" person.

→ if you are never satisfied with what you have / how you look / what you are.

→ if you feel that there is lack of joy in your life, etc.
