i dont understand 1 thing , uv rays on 1 hand cause skin diseases like cancer and on the other hand causes viti to be cured?? nyeah does only protopic works ? without uv bands? can we apply dermovate or what?
About UV ...it is about balancing,every thing too much is not good,moderate uv helps to stimulate pigment cells.
If Protopic works why use Dermovat...it is stronger steroid than Protopic ..long term use can couse skin thining ..ask ur doc before applay.
melanocyte trnsplant is i guess as same as gene of vitiligo transplant .u know what ,ima medical student and ive studied that melanocyte stimulating ormone is secreted frm brain pituitary .. any shares or ideas ? @bamsegutt
Proffesor Spritz is reaserching to find the commen gene for decays ..he allways say soon withn a 2 years but it has gone about 5 years since I heard it..
Yes melanocyte transplant help on stable vitiligo ..I have tryed it my self and got about 60% repigmentationon face.
About Melanocyte stimulant hormone ..a medicine company called Clinuval is testing Senece which MSH based drug..it will take some time til medcine will be avelable for us...It helps by accilerate the repig while using UVB.

It sounds interesting ...I heard they are cloused to find the gene ..do they find out which gene is common for depinging or repig? which country or place do they start with this treatment?
only if they find the gene then the lucky scientist can start with the ppl of his own country :)
