My boyfriend has vitiligo and is living in London. Last week we visited the dermatologist, and she said he couldn't keep using the light because he had already received more or less 20 sessions. Apparently you have a limited amount of sessions in a lifetime. Is that true? What do you know about the amount of exposure you can have to the NW UVB light?

Yes your derm is right ..I heard before that it is recomended maximum of some Joules lifetime exposure to NB UVB. I don`t remember exact number ,,I will find out ...20 Sessions is not much ..if he use regular exposer by increasing gradually maximum 3 or 4 minuts...there are many ppl who uses UVB for several months monitored by derm.
