Is it that men with vitiligo become emotionally unavailable, or its only because of their previous relationship, they are closed.
Does vitiligo add up into making of commitment phobic men.....i do have wide spread vitiligo.
I want to know this from men with vitiligo, please put in some information.....

I am suffering from vitiligo form 35 years now i am 46 before i think too much about it but after some age i leave thinking about it now its now 95 percent on my body i have family good friends circle i enjoy party goes abroad evry 2/3 month no body cares about it.its in our minnd that what people e think about it,when you stop thinking so you will feel good

I think it is the person. We all are at different stages with vitiligo and acceptance of ourselves. We all have different experiences and how we navigated them can have an impact on how current or future relationships. Speaking of myself, I had difficulties with relationships because I found it hard to believe that someone actually liked or loved me or could. I had super low self-esteem so it was hard to maintain a relationship because I always needed constant reassurance or I was waiting on the other shoe to drop. I no longer have those issues and I love myself now more than ever. But it took a journey, counseling, and much needed support for me to arrive to my destination of the present. I hope this makes sense.
Its true with females too Anitha, after failed relationships, You think 100 times but at the end automatically shut down emotionally to run away from further hurt and humiliation by society. Whatever situation comes in life, be strong and stay peaceful. All the best.

He broke with me saying , he does not feel love ....May be because of vit and his past bad relationship...i am again clueless
