Does ginkgo biloba extract and folic acid work?

I am 21 years old and I have had vitiligo for almost 4 years now. It started on my face so the first 2 years were practically like living in hell. I tried some medications for 3 years but nothing worked on me. That made it even worse to handle. But now since a year I haven't used any medication and I m trying to embrace my skin. Things are definitely getting easier with the passage of time. I want to use some oral treatment now. I am an architecture student so I really never have time for using creams and stuff. I want to know if anyone has got any results from taking gingko biloba extract and folic acid? Or if there is any other oral treatment?

  • I take Gingko biloba and a B-Complex vitamin. Over a period of months, my depigmented areas showed no noticeable results. However in many of the dermatology studies, Gingko biloba and Folic acid did show improvement. So, I still take both anyway.

    • Thank you very much!
    • Ok :) can you please tell me the details of dosage? Like how much and how many times a day do you take them?
      • 1 - Nature Made Super B-Complex vitamin every morning

up to 3 per day - trunature Gingko Biloba with Vinpocetine 120mg softgels
