And if he did shouldn't he be the one with the cure? I have been asked by several other people with Vitiligo, Did God give this too us ?? and my answer was no because if that was the case he would of gave it too us at birth. Vitiligo is a complete medical mystery and if anybody knows about it, it would be him so who would really know the cure for Vitiligo the Doctors or God. They say that God can perform miracles and I do believe in that

I'm sorry, Carl. This is silly. Do you really think God set out to give you or me vitiligo? Of course not. He didn't give us vitiligo. He did create a universe of which vitiligo is a part. But he doesn't see this as a disease. God is pure love, pure creation. He doesn't see bad or good. He just is. People often point out that God is all-powerful, true, but he's not all-controlling. He's (and I hope I'm not getting too religious for people here) too big for that.
I was asked this question by several people with vitiligo so I didn't come up with this ideal I'm just repeating a question that was asked Alex that's all and I really and truly appreciate your honest input on this because I was pretty much in agreement with you !!!
Please! The Devil tried to inflict me with vitiligo...lol... That fool don't want a piece of me because I got a knuckle sandwich for that...lol. Again will I let vitiligo "empower me" or "paralyze me"?
Because of my mindset, I defeated Satin and took a negative and turned it into a positive. "CHURCH"!
Hey Ciney I love that " will I let vitiligo "empower me" or "paralyze me"? I wish more people with Vitiligo would learn to love themselves also you have a great spirit and you always remain upbeat and positive that's one of the things that I admire about you
Yes I agree with you Alexander but I hate using the word disease because I think vitiligo is more of a disorder than a disease the word disease sounds so morbid
Honestly, I have struggled to find a balance between this disease in my faith over the years.
I was born with a droopy eyelid (no crease in the eyelid = fun!), which was corrected when I was four. Just as the scars had faded, the vitiligo appeared. Why would He do this to me TWICE?
At the end of the day, I feel vitiligo has made me a stronger, more compassionate person. My experiences with being different have drastically changed my world views for the better,
I feel that God never gives us more than we can handle, and has a purpose for each and every person. That's not to say that I'm a complete fatalist- I still buckle my seat belt! - but I believe that everything that happens to us, whether its by choice or completely involuntary, is all part of a bigger plan.
What if this disease is an instrument to bring us closer to God? Is this really just a big test of faith?
