Hi. I am new here. Have vitiligo around my eyes and a few other places. I recently went to an eye specialist who said I have a small loss of pigmentation in my eyes, which could be the start of Macular Degenerate (sp) Eye Disease.(apparently that is how MD starts) However, I have read that vitiligo can cause depigmentation of the eyes. I mentioned this to the doctor and she had no clue. She said she would research it. Has anyone else lost pigment n their eyes due to vitiligo and not something else? I am in Ohio, USA Thanks.
