Hi all
As agreed with my dermatologist I am now going to go through depigmentation.
He has prescribed 'Monobenzone cream' 20% strength for me but none of my pharmacies in the U.K can source this product.
I believe the product was to be made in the UK and they are apparently lacking the raw material needed to make the cream?
Anyway, I am kind of desperate and need any advice from you can give.
He has also prescribed me two other alternatives. They are, 'Mequinol' 20% cream and 'Hydroquinone' 5% cream.
Again, the pharmacies are having difficulties in sourcing these products here in the UK.
If anyone can recommend an alternative source that would be of great help!!

i was able to find a way to order the monobenzone , its a compounding pharmacy in the states that actually accepts international orders but you need a legit RX
Btw the pharmacists is very friendly , anyhow my order is on the way to Dubai now and then somehow i will try to get it to jordan .

its the doctor prescriptions , but it must be by your name , you can scan it after scanning it

in my country there is no compounding pharmacy ( its not allowed )

I have now ben asked to use either Mequinol or Hydroquinone. Both these products are not easily compounded and are extremely costly!
I have been told that it is possible to make the Hydroquinone at a cost of approx. £200 for a 35g tube!
I am still deciding and of course seeking other sources :)

dont use Mequinol or Hydroquinone they are not mean to be used as ideal solution for depigmentation ! plus side effects are much worst.
right now i am going through the Jordanian FDA website and see if i contact them to solve this issue, its kind a big shitload of bureaucracy to live in an Arabic country !
what i did learn till now is all of the website offering monobenzone are SCAMS . most of them are stupid enough to still name the monobenzone as benoquin- which of course are no longer produced by the company ICN .
i found an indian company with a product called albaquin ( monobenzone ) , i am suspecting a scam, their email address where traced to puneetlabs they also have website but seems fishy
if this is an official drug replacement for benoquin then why know one knows about it ??
