Dead Sea Treatment (Do it Yourself)

Hi Friends,

I came up with this post because it's been a while we don't talk about this.

Whilst it’s difficult to set up an appointment with Dr.Shallreuter, it's so easy to follow her Dead Sea treatment. You definitely don't need to see her to do this treatment. You can do the same treatment as she does, at the same hotel for 3 weeks, by following these steps:

1-Book accommodation online for "Dead Sea Spa Hotel" at http://www.booking.com.

2-Buy a ticket to Jordan. You may not need a Visa, but you will have to pay for a Visa as soon as you get to the airport. It’s best to check first.

3-Rent a car at the airport and drive to the Dead Sea resort area. It's about one hour drive at most.

4-Take your pseudocatalase cream to Jordan. Since they don't sell it there, you can make it yourself.

5-Wake up each day at 7am and have breakfast.

6-Take a 15 minute bath at the Dead Sea. Dr.Schallreuter suggests to use an indoor pool (with Dead Sea water) but I don't recommend it since they don't change this water frequently.

7-After the bath, take a shower with regular water, get dried and apply pseudocatalase cream to your white patches.

8-Immediately after (and before 9am) expose the white patches to the sun for 5 to 15 minutes each. The total time for all patches can NOT be longer than 60 minutes. Dr.Schallreuter suggests to sunbathe naked at the solarium. Alternatively, you can sunbathe on the beach, but nudity is not permitted in this case.

9-Repeat #6, #7 and #8 at 4:30PM.

10-If you have an UVB-NB handheld light, take it to the hotel. Before bed, apply the cream for the third time and expose each patch to 250 milijoules (0.25 J) of UVB-NB (short time). For example, if you have a 9W Philips bulb, it irradiates 1.15mw. So, you have to expose the patches for 250 / 1.15 = 3 minutes and 40 seconds (each). For face patches, start with 30 seconds at most and see 12 hours later if the patch has got a little bit pink. If not, increase exposure time in 10 seconds.

11-If you have a UVB-NB handheld device, be sure to take a European outlet adapter since the Jordan plug is European. The AC power in Jordan is 220v. So, if you have a 110v UVB-NB equipment, you will find a single 110v outlet in the bathroom. You will also need an extension cord so that the handheld light will reach the bedroom.

12-After 3 weeks, you will definitely see improvement!

13-I also suggest you to take anti-oxidant pills: Alpha Lipoic Acid, L-Methionine and L-Cysteine (or NAC). Buy them before you travel and take them with you.

14-Don't go to the swimming pools, since they have chlorine.

15-Stay out of the sun between 10AM and 4:30PM.

Good Luck!
