  • Hi DJ,

I work for Clinuvel and I'm glad you found the video interesting (and hopefully useful). We're working on a series (as well as another new vitiligo-focused project which we'll kick off soon), but I welcome your feedback; either on VF or by email (mail@clinuvel.com). If there's a particular topic you'd like explained, I'd be interested to hear about it and see if we can't incorporate some information into a future video.

As an aside, we've just published a new blog post focused on vitiligo measurement. It's slightly off topic, but might be of interest, focusing on how we 'measure' vitiligo and the effectiveness of treatements, see: http://www.clinuvel.com/en/blog/news/%E2%80%98measuring%E2%80%99-vi...

    Thanks again for your support

    • Hi Lachlan, I was wondering if the trials are underway and it any results have been seen?  I am very anxious to see what happens with this as I feel is seems an effective way to treat vitiligo.  I pray a better treatment/cure is found!  Thank you for what you do!

      • Hi HAL,

We have started trials in the US and our European trials are set to start in June (have a look at http://ww.clinuvel.com/vitiligo for more on this).

It will take time for results; we will not be able to release any reliable results until the end of the study period and it is possible that this won't be until 2012 (there are a few factors out of our control which will contribute here).

We appreciate the support of the whole community but also want to ask for your patience while we take the necessary steps to ensure the drug is safe and effective in vitiligo.

As always, I'm happy to address any questions you may have.

          • Very well said John! I absolutely agree!
  • Thanks DJ ..this is my favorite clip...it show what really is going on under vitiligo skin, the question is what is the underline cause which makes the antibody (Lymphocyte) to go crazy and attack our melanocytes.

The good ting that we learn now a days ,   Melanocytes are not dead but  just dormant .. some doctors still say  vtligo is the death of melanocytes but it is not.

Let us keep on trying until we find the one which help us to repigment ,,

We don`t have to give up!
