cellular grafting

Hi

  Can someone please help me to know more about the cellular grafting. Our doctor decided to go for this surgery for my daughter. Is there any complication in this? how the results will be? can i go or not? any side effect? please help me. Thanks

    How old is your daughter and where is her vitiligo located?

      Wait for six months, not three or four until you know for sure that it is stable. Results of grafting is not as successful as a melanocyte transplant. Side effects could be worsening of patches or chance that surgery will not work, and not a great colour match. Your daughter is still very young, think she is still sort of young to go through this all. Where is the patch located and what past treatments has she tried?

       No, its not stable yet thats why he asked us to wait for another 3 to 4 months. and she is 12. I know that we can do only after it gets stable but i am just curious to know about is there any side effect? thanks
