hi all ,

just to share some information that might help anyone and get feedback from !

recently i am having a weird leg pain for a couple of weeks (not sure if its nerve or bone pain. its in the upper thigh & down to the knee from the inside of the leg )

went to a couple of doctors and one said its just muscle nerve damage due to tension ( complete BS diagnose)

the other one asked for blood and urine tests after getting frustrated of 1 hour of physical testing

the result shows :

*High level of uric acid like 7.5 instead of 5.4

*B12 insufficiency (people in this area like Jordan, Palestine, Syria  have it all the time)

*Shortage of calcium its below 9.5

*Very low level of vitamin D , which the doctor told me about and how its possible linkage to vitiligo

now i am taking 10 b12 injections, calcium pills , centrum daily pills , weekly pill of vitamin D high dose

her diagnose was also that i have gout , which i really don't think that i have considering that i don't have the symptoms and i fucking hate red meat ! so i didn't take the gout medication

my leg hurts less frequently now . buy i cant hit the gym anymore :(

anyone having the same problem here or is it just me and this weird unconnected result

(btw i do some heavy combat exercises)

  • thank you all for the advice.
the leg pain has gone completely for two months now, am back at the gym.
if i may guess, i think its all connected to vitamin D, because i stopped the calcium pill (no good for men)

  • I had this problem too , it was connected to calcium deficiency.....calcium and magnesium can be deficient in adrenal fatigue and cause leg cramps and muscle problems. Make sure you use a high quality calcium like calcium citrate etc and take it in a 2:1 ratio with magnesium

    • did you take any vitamin D high dosage. because i stopped taking the calcium while there was still pain.

A recent study from the National Institutes of Health suggests there is an increased risk of heart attack, stroke or other cardiovascular diseases from taking calcium supplements for men only.

  • I was just diagnosed with vitamin d deficiency as well (go figure I avoid sun) but this has to do with disease as well??
  • if you are taking calcium pills then is your calcium low?  it may be an vitamin absorption problem for you since centrum and calcium all contain pretty high amounts of calcium.  Do you have digestive problems?  You may have leaky gut.  google it.  doctors rarely diagnsoe leaky gut.

    • thank you both

calcium pills were prescribed after the test results so only now am taking them, and centrum doesn't have a good rate of calcium to cover the shortage,  i am still too confused about my situation.

has anyone else have similar blood results ?

      • a good mineral supplement with probiotics helped me..it recurs when i stop taking the supplements for a few days.......vitiligo has not improved though.............

        • can you please describe your pain with more details, i wanna see if its similar ,

also could you list the supplement doses you are taking

          • the pain is usually in the morning or at night .....a deep pain inside the thigh...the bone area and it radiates to the calf..mine left leg..Doc recommended abt 10,000 iu of Vit D for a week then I continued taking my own multi mineral supplement....and vit B or neurobion...pain comes on the moment i stop mineral supplement........vitiliogo is stable on finger tips and some on face n now on lips....no improvement as yet........

            Gd Luck
