1) Some herbal oil with cortisone injection resulted with severe burns and was in agony for 10 days. (a professor prescribed it and I followed the exact instructions)
2) Some another silly herbal ointment made by a pharmacist = didn't work just gave me spots.
3) Doc gave me an ointment to put on the areas where I would develop more vit patches = worked but it didn't just keep my pigments alive also gave me dark freckles. You can't win!!
4) I had UVB narrow band light therapy for a year by going to hospital 3 times a week = worked on the newest patches and fully recovered on those areas then 2 years later I've got it all back again!
Light therapy is very long winded and slow.. I started with 5 seconds at first session then increased up to 2 minutes by the end of my treatment. You have to go to hospital 3 times a week! You are not allowed to moisturize your skin before the session as it blocks the light to reach to right place - I ended up with very dry skin. You miss a session then you repeat a session with no time increase even go back to much much shorter time as your skin needs to have the light gradually otherwise you'll burn. You get redness then you'll have to miss a session till your skin recovers from burnt! It's nothing like going to your local spa and getting a few tokens to get yourself tanned quickly! It's very controlled in the hospital which is the right way but much more time consuming..
Much more to write about it but too tired now :)
Ps: Doc prescribed protopic during the treatment then told me not to use it because recent medical research was against it!
Sorry for bringing the worse of it but I tried so many things and I think that I had enough of that all! I can except what I've got and would be even happy if I can stop its spreading!
I'm trying Cromovit + ginkobilba... it seems work... just a little bit..
I use to take Tanning generator and did works for a short time but after some spots came back..

The best treatment is to be strong and don't give up...I have tried almost all treatments for last 2 decays ..I haven"t found one which works 100%..I havent gave up either coz I know one day I will fix it ..I had many good re pigmentation moments but unfortunately some of the pigment fade away..The most giving treatments I found is Melanocyte transplant and Deadsea clima therapy.
Narrow band UVB, Steroid cream....if you can afford Protopic seams to work really well, and a cream I had made with a compounding lab, based on research I did.
The best treatment by far for vitiligo is on the inside. In other words, healthy diet (no gluten, no processed foods), vitamins and minerals. Also, try to figure out what triggered your vitiligo is very important to finding the right treatment.
For some people the trigger was gluten, for others it may be adrenal fatigue/thyroid problems. Adrenal fatigue can cause low stomach acid, which is a problem for most of us with vitiligo. Finding the underlying source and treating it is the most effective way to successfully treat vitiligo.

Hi Francesco,
My personal opinion is you must concentrate on your diet....cut out the crap and processed foods including dairy & gluten.
Go organic if you can......green juice everyday, "get the toxins out of your body"
despite what people say get as much natural sun as you can or try a uvb narrowband lamp.
then apply protopic, and pure and natural coconut oil on alliterative days.
be positive and emotionally balanced.
I am speaking from research and advice from vitiligo friends and have seen drastic improvements over the last 3 months, so don't give up.
p.s. get some ginko biloboa too
Thank all for your support!!!
I will try to get the toxins out of my body... i guess is the less expensive treatment ^_^
I had lots of treatments;
