    They have UVB treatment in their's. UVB is very effective treatment for vitiligo. Go and talk to Dr.padmavathi , I think this will be best if are staying in hyd.

    Hi venkatesh...
    I hv act got treated in Central Research Institute of Unani Medicine....
    The treatment was good....but the docs don't give info properly...Doctor waheed was treating me and I was given tablets to eat and some powder to mix with water and apply on the patches....for 2 and 1/2 yrs I was eating 1 tablet after dat he is telling me dat I should eat 2...
    Then I was treated by Dr. Minhaj and he admitted me in the hospital for 45 days....he was experimenting a new med at that time...gave me dat with another girl...my patches got spread out all the more after that....
    I won't say that it's not helpful at all...ask for old meds....and ask all the questions how to take meds...how to apply...and wateva comes in ur mind...
    I stay in Saudi Arabia....here I hv undergone Naroband treatment....that was quite helpful...my doc was Indian he's got a hosp/clinic in Mumbai too...I can give you details if ur interested....

    Honestly there are 2-3 phases to treatment in my opinion:

    1) first and foremost stopping the spread or progression of more white spots/patches.

    2) re-pigmentation which may depend on the area...some areas are easier than others

    3) maintaintence of re-pigmented areas.

    I honestly do think your diet and lifestyle and general overall health may impact improvement or lack of it.

    For example if you have very poor diet and eat oily street vendor foods that might impact it.  

    also can you explain how these medicines work and do they have any side effects?  also how long is treatment?

    can you guys please share a good doctor name for vit treatment in Hyderabad? Also, any luck of fixing the vit on lips and finger tips using the surgery or any other advance techniques. I only have few spots, i would like to get started on a treatment . I appreciate your quick reply on the same. Thank You

      I had vitiligo on my lower lip and I gone through surgery and its all gone now. Dr. Preethi suklha did my surgery and you need atleast a week to heal that but it will done in 30 mins. I would really recommand consult and have chat with doctor about your case and options you because all cases are not same. Hope this helps.

    hi, friend, why not trying UVB phototherapy to treat vitiligo?
