Hello everyone,
Is anyone here whose vitiligo did not spread or cause new patches after it's first occurrence. My son has one patch now and I hoping it will go away without new patches.
Thank you!

I went almost a whole year without gaining any new spots after my initial one. The ones that I do have now are much lighter and haven't changed either after more than two years. I take vitamins and am gluten free. I do not use any creams or light therapy. I was going to a natural specialist for detox therapies but it got too expensive.
I posted a discussion about my treatment called photopheresis it was little too much on my body but it really helped my skin. I just noticed this new dot Monday of this week. I've gotten a bunch of new dots this year so far. It's best that your treating it early because you can get rid of it easier than some people who had it for years like me. I've had it since 2009, I was in the hospital sick and couldn't really treat it early. But I heard that those vitamins you're taking can really help. You can also eat/drink more probiotic yogurt, spinach, lemon water, cranberry juice, kiwi and salsa to name a few
Hi Elijha, I've read that people with Vitiligo should stay away from "Night Shade" vegetables, like tomatoes and peppers, and dairy foods. Was wondering if you've read that, and how it affects advice on eating more probiotic yogurt and salsa. Seems like foods react differently in different people.
