  • God Bless you Joe, you look like my Brother on my "Heavenly Father's" side. I wish I had known before now you were on this site. It would be a real Blessing to share testimonies with you sometimes, Be Encouraged, my Brother.
  • Hello!
  • Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!! I'm sure there are plenty of believers who are a part of this extended family =) It's comforting to be able to sincerely pray for & accept prayer from sisters & brothers in Christ & possibly encourage some one who didn't know to get to know HIM. This is truly a blessing
    • Hello Akilah, GOD bless you. I'm so happy to see all my brothers & sisters who are here. You are correct this IS truly a blessing.
  • Hey I am an Orthodox Christian but when I came to UK I was going to an Advent and a Catholic Church near where I live...Unfortunately my faith hasn't been very strong lately so I stopped going to Church. I wona go back but I think that my priest will ask me why I haven’t been in such a long time...and then I will have to tell the truth...
    • Hello Ivanka, I'm glad you are here & are my sister in Christ. GOD Bless you :)
If your priest asks you anything you could always just say You felt GOD calling you back to himself & you are listening to his voice again. Please be encouraged in your faith, the Lord is coming back soon, just look at the state of the world. We are going home soon, I truly believe this.
  • Hello Joe, a fellow sister in Christ here as well. Not until recently, but I had my positive opinions about my vitiligo before my journey started. If anything it has just enhanced my understanding about why I was given this gift to live my life with. I feel it gives us a different perspective on how we view the world, with more compassion for the diversity of our world.

What are your thoughts on why we were given vitiligo, and how with our vitiligo can benefit others?
    • Hello Myriah. Sorry I'm not writing back until now I have been very busy. I'm so happy to hear you are saved. You mentioned that you are only recently saved, so I'm just curious when did you first accept the Lord & how did you come to know him? A friend lead you or family member?
I have been saved since around age 10. But I did not take my walk with Jesus really seriously until my late 20's. Now I'm totaly on fire for him & I try to live to serve him every day. I started to go to a new church 1 year ago & have been soo blessed since starting to go there it so awesome.
To answer your question though, I understand what you mean about the Vit being allowed to inflict us for a purpose. I also believe GOD has used it to shape & mold me into who I'am today. I dont think I would probably be able to serve him in the way that I do sometimes if I didn't grow up with Vit & have it effect me. Sometimes I feel it really kept me humble & subservient, which is how our attitude should be in this world. I also believe it helps me understand other peoples pain & helps to have empathy & compassion for them. I'm not sure if this is why I have Vit, but it is only my own perspective on the matter.
So where do you go to church? Tell me more about your walk with Jesus, I would love to hear it :)
      • Hey Joe! Only the last 8 months about, that I've turned to our savior. I was raised with no knowledge of anything mildly religious, my Father was raised Christian but had a jaded experience with it. But even so, he raised us with some good morals, and always stressed us to believe in whatever we felt. So I've never felt a draw until recently. My Fiance is christian and has been very good with not pushing, but being open to talking and that sparked my curiosity. So I've had many questions and have been guided by the spirit and have found my way with support from James and a few very close friends. 8 months ago James bought me my first bible and it all hit off from there. I still have a lot to learn, and I find it difficult starting from scratch with no knowledge, like a child at Jesus's feet. I am so excited and am getting there little steps every day, I still don't know my path but I'm excited to find out! Right now I'm attending Dalhousie Community Church in Calgary, I'm new to church and it's been a good experience so far :)
        • Well that is just awesome. I'm so happy that you have accepted Jesus into your heart. Yes reading GODS word will def lift you up & encourage you to press on. I thinks its awesome you are marrying a christian too, as that is part of his word, not to marry an unbeliever if you are a believer, else you will be unequally yolked. Praise GOD you are part of his family now, welcome, and please feel free to discuss anything you may have on your mind about GOD or his word, as I love to talk about Jesus :)
