  • Have tried cutting out all processed foods and changing your diet to just eating veggies and very little meat. Basically a raw foods diet. No soda or sugar? Lots of veggies and fruits.
    • - I started having vitiligo spots around 19-20.

-I completely depigmented my whole body, but some brown pigment came back.

      - Ginkgo biliboa, no, never tried it. Couldn't find good evidence that it helps.

      - Cooper ring and bracelet, no. No evidence that helps.

      - Juicing no.

      - Once you depigment, it is difficult for color to come back, if it does, its in blotches and not evenly.

      - Diet, no, didn't really try that, no evidence that it can really help as far as I know.

I'd like to hear your answers about homeopathy. What remedies are you taking? and how frequently? What potency? Thanks

  • Has anybody tried coconut oil, black seed which is said to be a cure for everything except death? the point is to repair the immune system and repair the body. Watch the documentary fat sick and dearly dead on Netflix. Maybe some of those principles could apply to this condition.
    • Have you tried copper ring and bracelet ? Have you tried juicing? once the skin depigments is there no chance of regaining color?
    • How long have you had vitilago? Has it completely depigmented your face? Have you tried ginkgo biliboa?
    • I remember trying black seed for some time, didn't do anything for me.

For homeopathy, I'm currently taking Lycopodium and Phosphorus in a 6c potency (strength). 1 pill each together dissolved under the tongue, once a day. They are complementary remedies, in that they work better when used together, and both have an effect on skin ailments.

Other remedies to consider are Sepia (the top woman's remedy, commonly used for skin ailments) and Thuja. Sepia is also complementary with Phosphorus.

Thuja is complementary with Silicea, and both are also used for vitiligo. However Thuja is known for strong side effects so if I do use it again I'll only take a single 30c dose. It's true that homeopathy does have side effects but that's part of the healing process.

I had vitiligo and depigmented (faded all my skin to white) Now I have brown spots that I'm trying to treat with homeopathy.

It's strange how the same remedies that can heal brown spots can be used for vitiligo, but the idea is that the remedies work with the body's spirit to correct imbalances.

What remedies are you trying? What potency do you take it in, and how frequently? Also how long have you been taking it? I'd be interested to know. They say if you don't see any improvement in 3 months then you should move on to another remedy.

      • One more important thing to point out is that with homeopathy you need to adjust the dose as you see effects. I've been feeling more tired lately so I'm going to stop doses for a while. (Increased need for sleep, tiredness, is a sign the remedies are acting)

  • I am trying them. Personally I like to try food remedies Bc they have no side effects . Do you have vitiligo? What helped you ESP. In slowing the progression . Thanks in advance
  • I'm not giving medical advice, but until you find a qualified homeopath, why not try remedies yourself?

You can find them on amazon, or in natural food stores.
