  • Hey KKB,

I had good luck with MKTPS (as Kitten said) in regaining pigmentation on finger tips and ankle. However,5 yrs after the therapy. I have had rapid loss of pigmentation in my hands. Not quite sure what caused it.Good Luck!

  • i think hands and feet respond very slowly to photo therapy...however face responds quickly i guess..i got vitiligo on 20% of my body and i had it since 2001 i started phototharapy a month ago and face responded in jus 10 sessions i wasnt expecting it to be that quick however hands and feet acting stubborn...good luck to you i hope you get good results soon!!

  • I had my 20% of body covered with vitiligo including some areas like fingers, elbow, knees etc.. I don't know what kind of treatment i am following.. Its UVA light therapy along with some homeopathic medicine.. 80% of my patches have repigmented upto much extent. Even fingertips are repigmenting. :)
    • Thanks Mohak! How long have you had vitiligo?
      • I am having vitiligo since 8 years. But taking this different sort of treatment from a gold medalist vitiligo doctor since only 2 years. For more details, message me. God bless you
  • Fingertips are hard to repigment And the only way to repigment would be a melanocyte transplant
  • I don't have on finger tips , but I think hands and legs are most less responding areas to Photo theraphy .......

but don't loose hope , be positive it will be repigmented soon :) prayers r with you

    • Thanks sunny!
