Today I just found Dr. Gauthier's website. His research inspired Dr. Bordignon's research, who is about to come up with a non-segmental vitiligo cure.
Check: http://www.vitiligofrance.fr/
Then goto Fiche conseil de prévention and click on it.
Sorry it's in French, but I did a poor translation to English so that I would like to share with you. I would appreciate if a French-spoken person could improve it. The website says things that I've been trying hard to find out myself. See below its advice on how to avoid vitiligo (NSV):
Begin
-----------------------------------
All of us have observed that the distribution of lesions is usually symmetric and corresponds to the areas of friction or pressure on the skin (Koebner phenomenon). It is essential to reduce or eliminate the physical trauma (stress) of everyday life on the skin. Thus, you can slow down or even stop the progression of vitiligo, and in particular make your treatment more effective. In very early vitiligo (stage I) spontaneous repigmentation is possible.
FACE
The most commonly affected areas are the perofacial: surfaces around eyes, nose and around the mouth side. These are induced by injury and friction during cleaning of the skin. We must therefore avoid any vigorous rubbing with a cotton and use a cleanser or antiseptic solution as smoothly as possible.
The lesions around the mouth are caused by the friction of the toothbrush handle. On the chin and around the lips, is similar to the monumental work "Thinker by Rodin" (see picture) , where the supporting hand on chin and cheek is a true negative pressure.
HAIR
Depigmentation of the hair line usually corresponds to the habit of aggressive styling / combing that causes friction on the skin of this region.
NECK
For men: the electric shaver makes a real grinding and favors vitiligo. It should be replaced by the use of a smooth blade shave.
For women: heavy-collar necklaces and friction should be avoided.
In the bathroom, vigorous rubbing with paper, cloth or towel has to be avoided.
BODY
The friction generated by the towel and bushing causes a continuous pressure.
The best option is to use liquid soap. Rinse under the shower and dry off with the towel, without rubbing.
Avoid strapless bra with high pressure, and avoid tight waist belts.
KNEES
The very tight pants "(jeans)" are responsible for the appearance of depigmentation groin in front and back of the knee.
In children, early depigmentation on knees disappears after discontinuation of use "jeans". Unfortunately, in the final phase (phase III) is too late.
ANKLES
Ankles and tight back of shoes induces damage quickly and symmetrically. It can cause permanent damage.
During the summer, we recommend the use of sandals that cause the least amount of pressure.
HANDS
Hands are often affected and the lesions are ineffective to treatment. The hands should be washed in the most gentle way, without rubbing the top of one hand with the other hand.
WRIST
Avoid using wristbands or bracelets.
ELBOWS
Avoid armrests on the table or counter.
Purpose of the advice:
1) Avoid the aggravation or extension of vitiligo lesions present.
2) Prevents new lesions, especially on the face and hands.
3) Promotes repigmentation:
-Spontaneously for stage I lesions .
-With phototherapy for stage II lesions.
4) It has no effect on the lesions of stage III.
Don't waste time to start a treatment, specially on the face.

Is there any volunteer to translate the 2 following sites from French to English?
