Has anyone tried Afamelanotide for vitiligo?

Afamelanotide (pronounced /ˌæfəmɛˈlænɵtaɪd/ ( listen)) developed at the University of Arizona is a synthetic analog of the naturally occurring melanocortin peptide hormone alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH) that has been shown to induce skin pigmentationthrough melanogenesis and thereby subsequently reduce sun (UV) damage to UV exposed skin in preliminary studies and clinical trials.

    • right.. afamelonotide (MSH) is a Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone.  I think afamelanotide is linked with scenesse as well as melanotan.  Fingers crossed, I hope this pill is the magic bullet to repigment vitiligo.
