What do you feel is the common denominator of people get vitiligo? Do you think it is environmental, stress(life changing activity), food intolerances, or a comination of all?
Has anyone changed their diet drastically where they have seen any changes such as a gluten free diet, raw food diet or South Beach diet etc....

There is no one common denominator. Several reasons can trigger vit actually per the derms we have been dealing with.
Environmental factors can trigger vit to some. Some people went to hot countries and came back with vit. Stress of couse, can trigger vit condition. Even mechanical abrasion (ex: falling from bike or learning balley where person stams feet) can trigger vit.
I have no knowledge about food. My derms never mentioned about food in the last 3 years. I personally think, food does not matter in their opinion....do not know !
In our case, we believe that, vaccination induced vit for our child.
I am sure, someone published research on this very topic.
Thank you for this. If you suspect vaccination, how long after being vaccinated did you recognize or was vitiligo diagnosed?
I know I had to recieve a series of vaccines in order to work. Then was required to get a flu shot after my Mom passed away and wham my vitiligo has progressed significantly. I also was required to get the H1N1 vaccine also another rapid progression after that.
