  • my husband used it on his spots. a small dime size spot got healed. he applied it straight from the bottle. and sometimes did the sunlight exposure but didn't do it most of the time. he started appliying it on another spot after some time but his skin started to get itchy and irritated and he stopped using it. he went the ayurvedic way + vitamin supplements and is completely cured now except for one tiny spot. but there have been no more new spots in the past 8 months.
    • Hi Jaquilin,

What kind of vitamins/treatment did your husband do?  I am very interested in learning more!

      Thanks!

  • Just ordered a bottle of it today...who else is using AVO and should I be using it with the Elidel?
  • As Valerie said, and I also agree with her that it is a suitable product for vitiligo. But remember one thing when ordering AVO, because some other sites also use the name "AntiVitiligo" , The url of real AVO site is
    http://www.antivitiligo.com/ .
Some other site has url which use word oil or tab followed by antivitiligo these are all cheating of original AVO.
As a proof when you google with keyword "vitiligo" the original AVO site would be at first page.
So be care and choose right brand to heal your spots.
    Thant
  • i am thinking about using the anti vitiligo, but am very concerned. Do you know anyone who has used the product besides the one that responsed to your question.
  • Hello, Where do you get this Anti-Vitiligo oil?
  • Hello everyone,
I used AVO when I was healing from vitiligo. It is very strong and can be diluted when used. It is supposed to be used only once a day and not just before going into the sun. It did speed up my progress. I used it after using Novitil for quite a few months. It also was so strong that I had to deal with some burns. I think I used it a little more than I should have. I still use it today mixed with a few butters such as shea and coconut for my lips that are just a little discolored. (Since I can use lipstick, this has been much more low priority for me, but I hope to use it this summer to get my lips completely repigmented as well. As with make-up, it is hard to choose to go w/o, but when you do, you get all that good incidental sunlight.) In my opinion, it's great to have some around, use with caution especially on kids. Also, don't forget to do a google on the herbs used in the oil and see the warning. I say all that and do have some even now on my lips as I'll be heading out to the YMCA with the boys later.
    • thanks fo sharing that info
